Glencrest Hills is a community of just over 1,000 homes plus apartments and Woodbury University that is part of the Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council, is in City Council District 6 starting the beginning of 2022 and is proudly part of Los Angeles City. Formed by the residents of the area to facilitate involvement in our community and to better interact with city agencies, we have been active since 2015. We formed not only as a neighborhood watch association, but to create an active, involved community to disseminate important, life-saving information (we support CERT, Community Emergency Response Team), to better prepare all of our residents in the case of any number of types of emergencies that could affect our community. We also encourage all residents to get to know their neighbors, as this can be a benefit to help prevent crime, and to assist the welfare of not only our own families but each others.

All are encouraged to attend the SVANC meetings to learn what issues are affecting our area. You always have the opportunity to bring up or address any issues you would like to see handled by the city at these meetings.
The SVANC Regular meeting is held on the SECOND TUESDAY of EVERY MONTH, 6:30-8:30 PM.
