Hope you had a great time at our FIRST National Night Out. We were delighted with the turn-out.
Huge kudos and thanks to the Producer of this event, Angela Kilgore! She and her kids worked so hard and it was extremely hot, over 100 degrees with 10000% humidity – (well, it felt that way), during set-up. They just kept going and going! She did a fantastic job planning the event, making the arrangements and then doing the set-up and close-down. It was her inspiration to do the event and we thank her from the bottom of our heart. That was a lot of work! We are so grateful to Pastor Ralph Midtlyngand the congregation of All Saints Lutheran Evangelical Church for hosting the event. We are indeed lucky that they are part of Glencrest Hills!
We were honored that LAPD Captain Ernest Eskridge and Captain Elaine Morales of the Foothill Division attended our event. It was great to see Officer Richard Wall back from vacation and there to close out the evening. They all had multiple NNO’s to visit that night, but it was great that they took the time to come say hello and chat with us.
A huge thank-you to Fire Station 77 for bringing their fire engine and EMT truck! I hope you all went over to visit them. Special thanks to Captain Mollett.
