We are thrilled that All Saints Lutheran Church is hosting and sponsoring the first annual Glencrest Hills National Day Out! Angela Kilgore is producing this exciting evening. THANK YOU!!!! But she needs your help, please volunteer! It would be great if families could volunteer for some of the activities so the kids are really a part of this fun evening. Please to volunteer. This is our event, not an event someone else puts on that you just attend. Let’s start off right with our new name and show what a great community we are! Also, if you or your company can be a sponsor, fantastic. We sure could use sponsorship for the bounce house and since we are trying to make the snow cones free, we also could use a sponsor for that also. Please let us know! We’ll give you credit on our website, but also we’ll mention it during our event! (Pretty please!)
We need volunteers for:
Set up: 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – 5-6 people
Traffic/Parking: 3 people (adults only of course)
Check in – 3-4 people
Games – 2 people
Popcorn machine – 2 people
Clean up – 3-4 people
So check back here for additional details. One thing for certain, YOU MUST BE THERE!
Walking or Biking to the event is encouraged.. We will have some tables and chairs, but not knowing how many folks are coming, if you drive perhaps you could throw a couple of lawn chairs in the trunk. Also, sunset on Aug. 1st is 7:54pm, so don’t forget a flashlight, especially if you are walking!
Susan, I am happy to volunteer at checking in people!
